Mother’s Day Tea
Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful moms! Mothers of children in our Pre-Kindergarten classes were honored at a very special Mother’s Day Tea!
Thank You to Bo Landefeld!
A big thank you to Canyon Creek parent Bo Landefeld! Mrs. Landefeld plays the viola for the Plano Symphony Orchestra and gave a presentation to our students. The children adored her musical retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk! As a special treat, each child was invited to touch a violin and pluck the strings. Thank you so much Mrs. Landefeld for this incredible experience!

Happy Lunar New Year
We had so much fun celebrating the Lunar New Year today! Our Kindergartners had a parade to welcome in the Year of the Rooster! Many of our students came dressed in traditional Chinese and Korean clothing and several parents brought food and red envelopes for the children and shared songs and stories. Happy New Year to all!
Merry Christmas!
The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear! Merry Christmas from all of us at Canyon Creek Day School! We hope everyone has a wonderful break and a joyous holiday with their families!
Firefighter Visit
Our students were so excited to welcome the firefighters from Plano Station 12 to Canyon Creek Day School! The children learned all about fire safety and how to Stop, Drop, and Roll. Students were treated to a hands-on demonstration of the gear and equipment the crew uses in a rescue situation. The children learned not to be scared when they see a firefighter dressed in their gear and that the firefighters are there to help. Thank you Plano Fire-Rescue!
